You just can't beat a Fuji ! I have 32 children in preschool and they know immediately if I serve any other kind and they turn them down after the first bite !!

Pink Ladies, beautiful in pies with a perfect apple taste. A little pre-cooking with a touch of apple juice benefits them as they are quite toothsome.

I love the crispness and tartness of Granny Smith apples. They ae definitely my favorite for pie, Waldorf salad, and othe apple desserts. I like to combine them with another one or two different types for applesauce. (Too bad they are so expensive about $1.00 per apple during the regular year at the supermarket!)

The best eating apple is Fuji. They have exactly the right balance between sweet and tart and are crisp and juicy as well.

I love fuji apples and make apple pies with them which to me comes out so delicious as well as the applesauce.
