Cut the amount of fats by replacing as much as half of it with fruits and replace half the all- purpose flour with the whole-wheat flour

I substitute fat free sour cream for the butter. It makes them very moist.

box of cake mix and 3/4 can of diet soda... no eggs or oil. Mix with hand mixer, put in cupcake liners or as a cake and bake as directed. Good old weight watcher recipe. Sound crazy - but it's amazing

I use ground flaxseed in place of flour to add fibre and replace eggs (need some liquid for egg replacement), and canned pineapple (in juice), pureed. Much sweeter than applesauce, less allergenic, and no extra sweeteners needed! I use no flour, dairy or eggs and they are routinely requested by my friends!

you can use coke (diet coke) with chocolate cake or sprite (diet sprite)/7 up with white cake in place of the usual wet ingredients... not quite as moist but still delicious!

Cupcakes are NOT meant to be health food but by using fresh organic ingredients whenever possible, you will create something that is at least not UNhealthy!

They now make sugar-free cakes mixes. Try this for a different twist on cakes.
1 Box of sugar-free cake Mix
1 12oz can of any flavor diet cola (cherry coke; cranberry 7Up; etc)
2 egg whites
Mix just until blended and cook by Mix directions
Doesn't really need icing.
I have tried white cake with diet cherry, sprite, Blackcherry Jones soda
Chocolate cakes seem more chocolatly with the flavors

pumpkins is GREAT. Black bean brownies believe it are not are good. Fiber One with fruit purees ( banana prune or applesauce depending on color)
