Carolyn asks: What’s your go-to dinner vegetable and how do you cook it?

Baking broccoli is not a good idea. I tried this and it burned it in five minutes.

A steam fresh bag of broccoli - ready in less than 5 minutes and can be added to any dinner or lunch if you have a microwave at work.

Parsnips --- clean and slice like carrots. Cook in buttered sautee pan, high simmer in added water until water is gone and parsnips natural sugars develop. Parsnips should be lightly browned.

Green Beans! Simply steam them, then top with lemon juice, a bit of butter, salt and pepper. I ate them nearly everyday while pregnant.
