In order to can long term you would need a pressure canner. And canning tools pressure canners run $115-$800 depending on brand and size a 6 court holds about 7 pint jars or 1/2 pint if you want to can larger jars which I wouldn't recommend you would need a larger pressure canner.

Canning jars Ball is the best I think but that's a matter of opinion mainstay also makes good jars but they are more expensive by the lids can only be used once so once you open the seal you cannot reseal them but the bands and jars are reusable. Walmart has good prices on canning jars with lids and bands included.

I've read and searched recipes to can hot peppers and jalapeños. I want these jars of peppers to last long time on a shelf. Your recipes sound tempting but would rather can peppers/jalapeños for long term. You mentioned you got a canning recipes also. Are they as easy as the ones you have above? Or do you have a canning book available?
