Green Bell Peppers: My friend who has passed away would cold pack, quartered large green bell peppers, with dill pickle solution. When she opened them they were as crispy as fresh picked peppers. Very crunchy. I cannot find her recipe anywhere . All recipes I find, the peppers end up mushy.

I want to prepare the pickling sauce and spices and put in a jar that's stored in the fridge. Then add my peppers to this brine as they ripen ...over time. What is the best method to accomplish this in this manner? Scorpioet2@neo.RR.com
