You eat quinoa to replace the rice or patatoes. I fry up some onions with littleoil and curry powder in a frypan and when the onions start to smell i add some cold quinoa to make it like a stirfry rice. Onother way is to use some meat/prawns, quinoa and lettuce in a rice paper sheet as a healthy starter.

I eat quinoa as a substitute for rice.

Mix it with leftover steamed veggies & beaten egg; bake until set. Cut into meal-sized squares to warm up each morning. Super quick!

My family loves quinoa for breakfast -- I cook it in milk (in the microwave using the rice setting!), and then treat it like oatmeal. It's a great way to get protein and fiber in for breakfast, and it reheats so well during the week.

I cook it with water, little olive oil and sea salt, some cornmeal and add dried fruit, nuts, unsweetened cocoa and honey or molasses for breakfast with some fat free half and half on it, very rich and great breakfast.

I have been making the Quinoa & Smoked Tofu Salad every week for lunch for my husband and myself. It is quick and easy to prepare, the flavors are fresh, and it makes a filling, satisfying lunch.

Do we have this in the Philippines? Where do they grow these nuts?

We love it with sauted kale added + chopped green onions and red bell peppers.
