November 1st was the 2 year anniversary of my journey to getting healthy. Within 4 months I got to a healthy BMI and have easily maintained since. One of the keys for this success was not to mess with the things I truly loved and Thanksgiving was one of them. What worked for me was to utilize all the healthy new habits and adjustments 90% of the time and indulge occasionaly on my comfort foods. In the past I've tried to change everything to "healthy" and after a while the weight crept back on, now because I know nothing is off limits, most of the time I make healthy choices and voila-success! It only took 30 years and every diet imaginable to figure out what really works for me.

I've been assigned a greenbean casserole and sweet potatoe for my
2 side dishes. What are healthy recipes?
