I was about to comment on the cheese too. Without that, its not a real comparison at all. Not that I am promoting McDonald's as a healthy meal choice, but I would like to see a similar comparison between two more similar burgers. And who makes a 3 oz burger on the BBQ? That thing must be the size of a silver dollar after its cooked. Sorry to jump all over this, I really did enjoy the article. I would just like to see a more realistic comparison of an actual burger that someone would cook on the BBQ in their backyard.

Er... the big mac has cheese. Your burger does not. And without the center bun, you're not really making an accurate comparison, are you? Those missing calories are in that extra bun and cheese, not some mysterious quality fast food magically has by virtue of being popular to despise.
