I was advised by experienced diabetic friends to use celery and oatmeanl and it has worked for me.

foods low in sugar content,not spicy foods,plenty of water.

unsalted nuts, pistachios, peanuts, walnuts, almonds. Ak-mak crackers with peanut butter,
red bell peppers, avocados, bananas, apples with skin, cantaloupe, turkey breast, plain Greek yogurt,
eggs, any green veggie,
