Hi! Couldn't someone help me with advice about this Cuisinart food processor - DLC-6FR? Price is rather reliable, but what about the quality? Did someone has expirience of using this food processor?

both appliances should be designed as one single appliance. To do blending you would install the pitcher like container and do everything that a blender can do, that is liquefy. Then you remove the blending jar and install the food processor attatchment with its container for processing, that is slicing, grating, and chopping. R Salazar

I used my blender to make mayonnaise, followed the recipe to the tee, and it came out completely runny. I don't know if it's because I used the blender and not a food processor. What do you think? The recipe got 5 stars, so I think it's my problem. Thanks Mary Jo

Get rid of both of them and get a Ninja, the best of both worlds.

Well I donated my blender and kept my food processor. I bought a Nutri Bullit and it goes way beyond what my blender did. I have seen a Ninja out on the market which will both make smoothies as well as do the regular food processor thing that I'm looking into for my next purchase if it works as good as it does.. But all in all. The Bullit does a great job with smoothies to chopping nuts.

I love my food processor and use it often, but I couldn't live without my immersion blender.
