I make mine with Almond milk, probi yogurt, ground flax & hemp seeds, grape seed oil, protein powder, oatmeal and a variety of frozen fruit, like banana, cranberries, mango, peaches and blueberries. Some times I add spinach. I may change it up with some green tea in the future.

I don;t agree with all of them, kombucha is full of sugar as not all added sugar gets fermented, flavored kefir has often added sugar and vanila flavoring is not always real, if tofu is not organic it is usually a GMO product,

My wife and I have made smoothies every weekday for years for our first meal of the day using whatever fruit we have on hand along with protein powder and juice of one lemon along with some cinnamon and enough water to make the consistency right. We use unflavored Greek yogurt. Folks at the health food store where we shop have cautioned us on using soy products due to some estrogenic effects brought on by the ubiquitous nature of soy in our diets so we quit the tofu thing years ago. The protein powder we use is whey-based for that reason. Also a lot of concern about GMO soy.
I'd rather have my green tea by itself. On the Kombucha, I have read some negative effects of using that. We grind up flaxseed to put in our hot cereal. Haven't seen kefir around here. Any comments?. Reach me at sonny_1946 at hotmail.com.
Thanks

When I lived in Quito, Ecuador for a summer my host mother made me warm smoothies with exotic tropical fruits and Oats. They were deliscious. These days I add a handfull of oats to my smoothies every now and again, I also like chia seeds. I'm not a fan of soy products or dairy so I use hazelnut milk instead.
