To basic chicken , beef ,or vegtable ( "Better Than Bullion") broth I add a whole roasted chicken,skin removed,2Tbs of vinegar( white or apple) Salt & pepper to taste. Lots of carrots,chopped celery,fresh chopped parsley,or cilantro. Sometimes a rutabaga,shredded, lg chopped onion. Med. heat until carrots are tender but not mushy! 5 min before taking off heat I shred a zuccini or yellow squash, some chopped spinach , kale, or chard,snow peas, or all the above -depending what I have in the refrig! Sometimes if I have any fried rice leftovers I add that,or mushroom risotto, or white beans, or potatoes. Or puree a few cooked potatoes to give the soup a richer consistancy. Herbs are always a way to change an ordinary broth to a delicious meal. Sometimes when we need a kick in the broth I add a can of rotel tomatoes & chiles. When serving I give a few options to top it off . Parmesian, asiago, goat,chedder,manchego,cheeses etc whatever the mood or again whatever is in the refrig! My family or guests always enjoy my soups,...... but try to repeat them ends up with a new recipe!! Enjoy ! Angela

Soup is a healthy and easy to make recipe. It consists of different kind of vegetables that is a best option if you are hungry and want healthy food. To make it more fast you can add left over vegetables, butter etc. They are very good for our body as the vegetables are boiled and it contains very less fats. People who want to loose weight can take soups as snacks.

Instead of adding a broth to my soup, I use Spicy V-8 Juice ...(.2cups of juice to 1 cup of water )
