Instead of getting a fruit plate or several types of fruit, go for one fruit, such as pineapple or watermelon, and cut it up yourself.

Each person at the cookout should bring a FRUIT (for variety and more to share) and cut up while there! Another tip (make and season your 4-5 oz patty the night before and keep chilled) to bring with you. Also bring your own SPF and Towels (to be kinder). Happy times ahead while making WONDERFUL HAPPY FAMILY MEMORIES! OR FRIEND TIMES!

Ask your guests to pitch in a dish! Someone can bring the soda - someone (or two) a salad - someone (or two) the desserts. Most friends won't have an issue with helping out!

I think you mean bamboo is less green than people think, not that it is less sustainable. Growth rate and how easy it is to grow makes it sustainable. Using lots of fuel to ship it makes it less green.

That might not seem like too much, but some of EatingWell’s oven-fried chicken recipes (including the Oven-Fried Chicken on a Stick, pictured above) shake out to a lean $2.07/lb.
how are you getting chicken that costs less than $2/lb?
