Corn is not a vegetable. It is a grain. A really unhealthy grain.

Fresh cut corn MASHED and cooked in an open pot with REAL butter (can be substitued) and plain salt.If you wish you can take a SMALL pinch of sugar and add to it.Regular salt and butter and corn :) you don't need a pressure pot! If your an at home mom? Six ears will feed an ENTIRE family of 3 if given the right amount! My baby LOVES it (she is 8 months old).I bought a blender and plan on pulverzing it so it's easy for her to eat :)
Great tips: Use a bunt pan and turn it upside down! VALA! You have an easy way to cut your corn! :) and a place to put it when your done til you cook it! Cut it as think or thin as you like! Put it on LOW in the blender for 25 seconds, then put it in a 10 quart pot and simply cover it with water, add the butter half way cooked. It's CHEAPER than most can corns to buy it fresh! it takes MINUTES to prepare and it's GOOD HOMECOOKED FOOD! YOUR FAMILY WILL LOVE IT! Just keep checking on it and and add as much water as you like, salt it to taste and enjoy! Can be served with tomatoes and cantaloupe for a good southern meal :) *stephanie*

Corn isn't a vegetable, it's a grain. It's not digestible unless you have Mexican heritage, that's why you always find it in your pop if you haven't chewed a whole kernel.
