From my understand corn is NOT a vegetable, it's a grain. Either way, I love it and eat it everyday all summer long.

Then why is America becoming increasingly obese/diabetic when most of our food either consist mostly of corn or includes it? Weird eh? Maybe it's because our corn is grown in the same place for years (that attracts pests, it's called mono-culturing) and then gallons of pesticide and herbicide are dumped on the Genetically Engineered corn that big companies like Monsanto own. Which, by the way, has the most corrupt business model in farming. That being suing organic farmers for "not really growing organic crops, but genetically modified crops" but really Monsanto's crop (that is patented) has spread/blown onto the organic property by accident.
What do the organic farmers do when the loads of pests come into their farm because of the neighboring mono-cultured farm. Do they use pesticides too? Probably.
At this point, who cares about how healthy it is. In this age of systems (some corrupt), we need to be more concerned with safety. I hope this post has inspired you to revolt against food companies. If not please look into it, watch a documentary (Food Inc., Fresh, Etc.).

Just boiled it or microwave it with the skin on for 3 minutes each corn and just put ground pepper eat it in a cob.

Corn is only health if its Organic, look up the dangers of GE Corn you may want to reconsider eating it again and the millions of products GE corn is in.

Oh i just love the natural sweetness of corn and i love it even more that i know how healthy it is ;-)
Usually when I prepare it, I boil it for about 7-10 min (just until it gets soft)
Then, if I have a bbq, I will wrap it in aluminum foil and grill it for 5-7 min, until it gets a bit grilled.
Then I remove them, wait for them to cool a bit and add the following:
1. a little bit of butter
2. salt & pepper
3. a dash of chat masala (indian spice)
4. fresh squeezed lime or lemon but lime is better
It's yummy ;-)

I LOVE soak an ear of corn with husk on in water. the place straight on the charcoal of your B B Q Oh my goodness it is so tasty (smokey) I don't care for it any other way now.
