I LOVE soak an ear of corn with husk on in water. the place straight on the charcoal of your B B Q Oh my goodness it is so tasty (smokey) I don't care for it any other way now.

Corn is a grain, or seed. Vegetables are typically considered as edible parts of plants other than seeds or fruits; however, the word 'vegetable' is not a scientific definition, so the application of the word is arbitrary.

The color of the corn has nothing to do with being genetically modified or not as previously mentioned. Nor does the color determine its sweetness.

Corn fried in mixture of olive oil and a little bit of butter, sprinkled with sea salt and pepper. For a change I also add chopped fresh tomatoes.
