Adams - 100 percent naturel bought in the big jars at Costco. Much better flavor than other brands.

Kroger's Natural Crunchy PB - peanuts and salt. I bought this when I couldn't find Sta. Cruz Crunchy. It's great and I like salt in my peanut butter

You should also avoid peanut butter with palm oil because of the terrible effects of palm oil production on the rain forest and many species of animals. I use peanut butter with only peanuts as an ingredient. I never liked peanut butter before I discovered the type with no added ingredients.

Why would you buy peanut butter when you can make your own?! Takes about 20 minutes including filling of the jars. All you need is a kilo of shelled salted peanuts and a blender or food processor. Just keep blending or processing, scraping down the sides at intervals and add a small amount of peanut oil to reach the consistency you like. I still add a little more salt. Delicious! All natural and it actually tastes like peanuts. Commercial peanut butter doesn't even taste like peanuts.

I like Natural Jif--like a cross between the Jif I grew up with and Smucker's Natural--and it doesn't have to be stirred
