100% Stevia is great and hasn't caused any bad side effects for me. When I was using any stevia that had sugar alcohols added to it like Truvia, I was getting headache and stomach aches. Wished I would have figured that out a long time ago, because I suffered needlessly for months. These are some of the names of sugar alcohols that are on labels:
malitol, sorbital, isomalt, mannitol,
xylitol, lactitol, erythritol,
hydrogenated starch hydrolysates,
HSH (commonly labeled as Lycasin™)
and hydrogenated glucose syrups.

I have been using liquid stevia in coffee and tea for over 10 years. It was recommended because I have migraines and artificial sweetners are a no-no. I am a true believer and carry it with me.

You're casting some doubt on Stevia's safety, have you looked at research on the harmful effects of sucralose?

I had awful gas w/stevia. I can't use any sugar substitutes because they all give me gas. I also have bloating w/them. My mom has no problem w/them. I wish I could use them. I guess the best thing would be to not do sugar.

I haved used stevia for years with no problems, and no aftertaste of the artificial ones, and the effects that are found out later, be careful stevia is very sweet.

I personally will never use another artificial sweetener! One of them gave me a severe allergic reaction that has left me crippled for life! I do not trust the FDA when it comes to keeping all foods safe.
