I've always like the Samoas best since I'm really fond of caramel, and generally I don't buy many of these because I know they're cookies - not health food - and it's way too easy to eat way too many. As I've gotten more ingredient-conscious I've avoided them even more and wonder if their shelf life approaches the average Twinkie. That said, I'm really glad to see Girl Scouts using less trans fats in their products.

I can't help it- I LOVE Thin Mints! I I eat a box once a year and I just can't think of a reason not to! :) Nutrition info isn't important to me for a once-a-year indulgence.

I love them all, calories, carbs and all. We all should contribute to what will help our young people's confidence. To buy their cookies tell them more than we like their cookies. We tell them they like, appreciate and want to help them. It gives them confidence in themselves.
Thank you girls. You are great, sweet, and delectable, just like your cookies.

Nutrition information is the first thing I look at. I used to love them (Peanut Butter patties) but I won't eat any that contain partially hydrogenated anything.

I LOOOOVE Samoas, and no the nutritional info doesn't bother me b/c I use lots of self-control and only have one.

My favorite cookie is the thin Mints and of course I can't eat just one, they are the best in taste for me but I do also love the Trefoils, my daughter loves the Tagalongs but she is thin and can eat as many as she likes. LOL..

Samoas, Lemonades, Thin Mints & Tagalongs are truly yummy. I have in the past shared my box with co- workers. This would keep me in line with my desire to eat them. So now I cut back on these delicious cookies. I have found companies which imitate these very well ...at much reduced calorie and w/o containing partially hydrogenated oil.
Thank you , this helped me to choose my treats better. And to remember to READ the labels ingredients

I love Samoas/Caramel deLites, so it figures they're the most unhealthy Girl Scout cookie. I won't stop eating them completely, but I've only ordered one box versus my usual three (hey - I'll save them for the rest of the year, right?! Yea, that never happens...). There's no way I could ban these bad boys from my life!

They come once a year. I myself donate the money to the girls and tell them they can keep mine to resell their for making more money. They love it.

Samoas and thin mints have long been my favorites. UGH! I will never buy them again and stick with Trefoils, which I also like. When did we start poisoning our children in the name of convenience? Shame on us. I think we can do a better job producing foods that are nutritious and flavorful. I see some progress has been made in that direction. Let's keep working on it for the good of all.
