I normally eat before a work out becuase if I don't I feel light headed and want to stop sooner. However, I don't eat carbohydrates or hot drinks as they make me feel to full. I have a smoothie made with frozen berries, skimmed milk and half a banana. I would eat this about 2 hours before my work out and this gives me a boost of ene
rgy without making me feel heavy or bloated.
During the workout I drink sugar free barley sq9uash.

I don't do grains or highly processed foods, so for breakfast, I eat fruit and full-fat greek yogurt, or a homemade muffin made with almond flour and an egg...this works before my workouts as well. After my workout, I'll eat a hard-boiled egg and a few veggies. Mainly, I try to eat some good carbs before a workout and some veggies, fat and protein afterwards. I do high-intensity, short workouts and oly-lifts.

I usually go into work around four in the morning; during that time, I will eat a piece of fruit or two every 2 or 3 hours.. I also start with an orange, for the vitamin c and the cleansing that it gives to help my body with further digestion throughout the rest of the day.. then I will eat a banana, something thick that will keep me from getting hungry.. finally, I will eat another orange or an apple.. however, I would like to start eating a sweet potato before i go in for a slow digesting carb.
During a work, I will eat something like a banana or an orange or an apple, something to refuel me half way through..
after workout, is a glass of whole goats milk or some cottage cheese or some sheeps milk.. something with fat, protein and carb.. and some chocolate.
