The #1 food you should eat (and probably don't)

Hilary asks: Do you like sardines? If you do, what are your favorite ways to eat them?

Here's the problem, Hilary: For some of us, perhaps many of us, fish tastes like garbage. It's repulsive.

So, instead of eating this vile food, we sensibly take one to two tablespoons of high-quality fish oil daily. In doing so, we gain all the benefits of fish consumption, without the detriments. Our kitchens smell better, too.

My "Pops" ate a can of sardines every day with vegetables. He lived to see 90 years of age. I think it's time that I start trying them. The sardines with crackers are probably my best bet..

Thanks!!

Sardines with potatos, crackers or rice.
Put on lettuce with tomato, olives, sweet corn and mushrooms. ( cut everything in small pieces ), fold and eat.

I love canned sardines in soya oil. Canned by Brunswick. I eat them straight from the can with a little wine vineger and fresh ground pepper. No salt. One can also mix with little mayo and onion and use in a sandwich.

Love them,

Was born in northwestern Spain where seafood its a way of life. Like to eat them right out of the can with a little fresh onion, Olive oil, vinegar and salt.
On a Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese type crusty sandwich bread with some olive oil.. I'm hungry! How about fresh sardines on the barbecue topped with some rock sea salt then eat them with some fresh bread and red wine.. Oh man they are delicious got to run to the fish market now.
