I enjoyed reading your blog and the receipes to the mocktails - my three boys will love some of them.
I have brain cancer, and it is something that is always with me even though it is not actively growing. I'm exhausted of all the cancer talk, something will always increase someone's cancer risk. Enjoying things in moderation is the key to any healthy lifestyle. Also, nothing is full proof in helping keep cancer at bay. When I was diagnoised, my oncologist informed me that we all have a cancer cell within us and that it just takes something to trigger it - that living in fear is not a way to live and just to enjoy moderation.
My mom has had breast cancer twice and the advice given was reduce sugar intake. Which meant to watch the intake of certain carbs, fruits and her white wine. She still hasn't given up the wine, but is more aware of what not to consume.
I have enjoyed the articles suggesting eating more colorful items to reduce cancer chances, but do you think a time will return when we can talk about food without the "what if" factor?
