I've researched it too and think you got it wrong. Longer fasts are good for us and eating breakfast , especially typical carb loading types, before we are hungry lowers our energy levels and sets us up to eat more sooner.
I was checking to see if I could trust other advice on this site and now I can tell that you are just another outlet current conventional wisdom. Oh well. I'll look elsewhere for info.

I often don't get hungry until 10 or so in the morning. Trying to eat any earlier than that sometimes makes me gag. I am finding, however, I can usually get a healthy smoothie down without much trouble.
