I weened myself on to healthier food by taking the food I love and looking up recipes for it. The Internet is a great source for delicious recipes. Then all you have to do is phase out the oils, cheeses, sugars, white breads, etc. Fruit is an incredible tool, because you can make anything sweet and "sugary" by adding fruit, and effortlessly get in most of your 5 a day. Yogurt is also a fantastic tool, you can make anything creamy with it, including all kinds of dips. Same with avocado.

7 colors of food at every meal? If I made that a rule I'd definitely lose weight, because it would take me all day to get together all the food for just one meal.

Interesting tips which will work, I am convinced of that it will work.Thank you for this information.
I may be oldfashioned but in my childhood days I was simply told to eat the plate empty.
And out of respect for my parents we did that.
Why can't that be done nowadays ?
Another way would be to let them drink green smoothies. In fact it is the same idea : give the vegetables a sweet taste. Our goals is the same : let our children stay healthy. On our health !
