I have time to make at home but have only a 10 minute break on a 6 hour shift. That doesn't count restroom time

Time and planning! A lot of days I end up bringing ingredients to the office and assembling my lunch there because I can't get to is at home in the morning.

Absolutely nothing! It's such a habit that I find myself looking askance at colleagues who find themselves wandering to the vending machine for lunch because they haven't planned ahead, or who go out or order in as a rule rather than an exception.
My lunch go-to is ... dinner leftovers. Scoop them into a Rubbermaid-type container while I'm cleaning up from dinner. If need be, add a side of broccoli, salad, or some other vegetable. I also dish up morning and afternoon snacks to tote along. I save money, calories—and time, too, as I don't have to leave the office to grab food, or wait for the delivery person to show up.
If I don't have leftovers, I might bring a wrap or sandwich (albacore tuna salad is my fave), a frozen entree with a vegetable side, or Amy's Organic black bean chili.

I'm a physical therapist and sometimes I don't realize until 2 or 3 PM that I haven't eaten anything since breakfast. At that point, I'm starving and want a quick fix that isn't necessarily healthy. I try to keep things that are easy to nibble on (and hide) while I'm writing notes such as, grapes and mini carrots. Somedays, I don't even have time to eat a yogurt!
