What do I do about the nutrients I need that I can't get via green leafy vegetables because i take Coumadin. I can't eat foods with medium or high Vitamin K content. That's my dilemma. I love(d) the foods I can no longer eat.

Check with your doctor first, but people on Coumadin (warfarin) are able to eat green leafy vegetables (and other foods that contain vitamin K), as long as you eat consistent amounts each day. Consistency is key so that your doctor can prescribe the correct dosage for Coumadin to work effectively. So if you have been avoiding these foods, you would need to speak with your doctor about possibly reintroducing them into your diet.

This looks like it would work well for adults, but I'm still lost for my child - will eat breaded salmon, but no cereals; will eat yogurt, but no other dairy products or tofu; hates beans of any kind; will eat a banana if really hungry, but spits out any sweet potato which she might accidentally have put in her mouth. Natural products here aren't fortified; fortified ones are loaded with sugar and other stuff here. Vegetables? Maybe a couple of slices of cucumber, a sliver of raw carrot and a cherry tomato - forget anything else. Even boycotting the tomato sauce she always ate on her pasta (and where I hid hints of other pureed vegetable at times). She's the opposite of me.
