I have Celiac disease. I have learned to read all labels, and know to avoid anything with the ingredient "modified food starch." I buy almost no prepared foods, the risk is too high. Salad dressings are one of the easiest to research-go to the web site for the brand. I usually use olive oil and vinegar of some sort. Did you know Twizzlers (candy) contains wheat flour? When in doubt, don't eat. I make my own pasta, and bread. I have a hamburger bun pan and an electric pasta maker. It's easy to be vigilant; I haven't forgotten how sick I was before the diagnosis.
