I prefer InFresh-- its a product I can only find online. A colleague of mine gave me a tablet and after taking over his stash, I finally ordered mine!

Yes. Some people don't mind the smell of garlic or onion but others can be offended. In my line of work (I'm a receptionist), I have to be particularly sensitive to such things as I work with diverse members of the general public and I'm the 'face' of my company. So I always make sure to have mints handy, keep my dental groom up to speed and avoid scents I know could cause offense.
