Definitely so many option plus cooked portabella mushrooms taste like steak!

As a matter of fact, we already do this in my household. Maybe even twice a week if we have enough leftovers. We enjoy big leafy salads or roasted vegetables - nothing that you have to do special shopping to serve. The benefit is cleaning out the fridge with wholesome, enjoyable dinners that my husband and I love.

My husband absolutely loves meat and doesn't feel as full from vegetarian options (he detests tofu), So I eat no meat until dinner time (breakfast and lunch always vegetarian) and it has been much cheaper! I'm working on getting him to eat more vegetarian options :)

Yes, I can quit meat once a week for a whole year!!!! For the past two months my husband and I have eaten vegatables monday - friday and on saturday and sunday have eaten any thing I have a taste for even if its meat. We see it as a change of life. I have droped a dress size. My husband has lost weight.

We are doing great!!! We can do this for a year and longer.

we don't eat meat every day as it sure....

we already do not eat meat sure it would be we also don't use tofu stuff....ick..

Definitely know that I could and often do, although I would not consider myself a vegetarian. My daughter-in-laws are both vegetarians and when I prepare meals for them I usually eat what I've prepared for them. And make a meat meal for the non-vegetarians. I really prefer a veggies to a burger any day, but you have to let me have that filet once in awhile.

Absolutely and have for many meals a week. I love my veggies,all sorts of potatoes, and pasta-well, I can eat pasta every meal. I had a meatless day so far today
Example of my meals today:
Homemade Blueberry Muffin
Late Morning/early lunch:
Afternoon snack:
Baked Sweet Potato
Green Salad with blackbean
Going meatless 1 day at a time
