Myth within one of your myths: There is no scientific evidence linking the intake of saturated fat to the increase in cholesterol. This is just a myth propagated by vegetable oil manufacturers. In fact, the intake of too much vegetable oil is now being linked to increased cholesterol. Google it. You'll see.
