Does making a "well" when mixing ingredients help it mix more thoroughly?

I also wonder about your "color of egg matches ear lobes and feathers" comment. My chickens lay blue-green eggs and I sure have never noticed blue-green body parts!

The myth that virtually all people are "gluten intolerant." I have more problems with my hypochondriac, food faddist friends hopping on every food band wagon. Now, they have this "gluten" thing in their minds and it has gotten so bad that many of them are refusing to socialize, because their children might "see" foods with gluten in them (like say, *gasp*, a cookie or a cracker) and want it and then they have to say, "No." and it ruins their day. And then their kids start screaming, because they are so deprived of normal food, and the whole thing is ridiculous.

I had a woman start to lecture me in the supermarket the other day, when I PRIVATELY said to my child, "I wonder who is buying and actually needing all these "gluten free" cake mixes? Celiac is a very rare condition." She ATTACKED me with anecdotes about her "gluten intolerance" which evidently has spread to her children. (eye roll) I'm a nurse and I know this is a fad for people who need attention and who love to get attention by calling out what "I'm not allowed to have" but assaulting others in a supermarket is the last straw with these people.

the comment you made about the eggs is incorrect.
I was raised on a farm and we had alot of chickens, mostly White Rocks (which have WHITE feathers and lay BROWN eggs)
also we had Rhode Island Reds (which had RED feathers and also laid BROWN eggs) also, our neighbor raised Leghorn chickens (they had WHITE feathers and laid WHITE eggs) therefore, I disagree with your statement completely.

I love my coffee and I have read that the caffeine is not good for you, I have drank coffee all my life and am in my 70"s and still drink about 4-5 cups a day. What is the skinny on caffeine?

Foods labeled as "low-fat" are healthier than full fat foods. Many foods labeled as low-fat are actually much higher in sugar and sodium than their full-fat counterparts.
