5 “bad” foods you should be eating

Whoever wrote the above is IGNORANT and obviously part of the OLD SCHOOL Nutritional school.
With that said. The potatoe is the only 'bad' food we should consider.

Thinking MOM knows best about food Grandma had a clue but the baby boomers grew up on canned prepared food. Now they passed there laziness to the kids. And now our children are seeing the results and trying to do better. Best myth is government has your interest in food.
EAT LOCAL SUPPORT YOUR AREA BE OPEN AND TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT MEAT AND POTATOES HAS KILLED A LOT OF OUR PARENTS. NOW ITS TIME TO SAVE THE KIDS AND PLANET TOO!!!

I don't consider a myth but a controversy. Soy is good according to the A. Dietetic Association, but bad according to Dr. Mercola. What information can you add to this?

It's not a myth but I didnt know where to put it. You brocolli and greens (after cooking greens and steaming broccoli) in a blender with some rice milk or waterfrom the cooking process and blend it. Add some celtic sea salt and you have a great tasting, very healthy soup..oh I put it in microwave to heat.

I have always eaten potatoes and thought of them as a splurge because of the rep they get. But they stay with me longer so I don't get hungry. Also I really enjoy eating potatoes for lunch because it gives me energy through out my afternoon when I tend to get tired.

I read that potato's ( a nightshade ) are carcinogenic when fried, and that BECAUSE they are a nightshade they are generally not good for the body. Also, beef, no matter HOW lean, stays in your system for a long time after it's eaten. That's disgusting! Is there any truth to these "myths" or "truths" ( whichever they are )?

I love to eat Australian rib eye. They taste heavenly and much cheaper than their American counterparts. But every time I take a few ounces, I get a ton of guilt. With the insight I gathered from your article, I simply decimate the marblings to my husband's chagrine because the steak appears to have been discarded by two Tasmanian devils pulling at each end of the meat.

2% milk is very fattening so even for growing children after 5 years of age ,use skim milk.
Is this true?
