Nicci asks: What food myth have you bought into?

Milk, which was always know as the perfect food is now being treated as a bad food because of the fat content and the milk sugar (lactose). Many people are considered to be lactose intolerant and sometimes I wonder whether this happens because of the adverse effects created by the antibiotics given to cattle. I never encountered this in my early years and I can't recall children (or adults) having such intolerance. Is this myth or fact?

I still believe that pork is baaaad for you. I think recent studies have shown that eating balanced amounts of pork (or anything else for that matter) is no more harmful than any other meat, but I still think pork is the baaaad meat.

I *think* spinach is 50% protein and therefor makes you feel more satisfied than eating the same amount of another type of green. Am I crazy?

Jaya Chaya! We recently vacationed in Mexico where the locals and ex-pats eat chaya or "tree spinach". This is supposedly a weed that packs way more nutrients than spinach and grows along the roadside in Mexico. Wouldn't this be a great source of nutrients for Americans watching their weight? This is the same plant that produces chia seeds, which were a recent diet trend.

Very good job, I'd also like to point out the following foods as also good
Rice, Coconut oil, palm oil, and sugar
the two oils are bad but also very good and sugar is 50% glucose which is good but 50% is fructose as long as its consumed in moderation its okay.
