What about cheese? I've been told most of life that cheese is fattening and causes problems in the digestive system (to be less polite, I was told it can give you constipation), but I love it and have never really felt ill effects from it. I eat at least one piece of colby jack cheese every day, sometimes with crackers or on a salad, and sometimes as a side dish during lunch. I also love to complement a glass of wine with brie or camembert cheese on crackers now and then. Is cheese really as unhealthy as I was taught?

eat anything you want just keep an actived life and you are going to live longer it is simple.

Twix: To much fat and un-healthy, seems to taste good to some people but the others that don't seem to like it are better off without it because it could mess up your insides.

I exited the Food Myths in 2006. I only use butter, lard (which I make myself), olive oil and coconut oil for fats. I buy pasture fed, free range beef and free range pork. I drink Raw Milk. I eat plenty of eggs. I sprout my wheat, grind it into flour and have some kind of bread product with every meal. (Favorite breakfast is large glass of milk and big slab of bread slathered in butter and garnished with raw, unfiltered honey..........)

I have lost over 60 lbs (nope, my exercise routine didn't change!), and I am healthier now than when I was 20.......

If a food or way to prepare it was available to my grandparents, I'm in - if not, then I'll probably say, "No Thanks!"

Oatmeal is fattening. I've been told that Oatmeal is nutritious and keeps you regular but that it will creep up on you adding extra pounds FAST.

As I've matured, I find that I cannot digest beef like I used to. It gives me terrible heartburn, as opposed to eating the same quanity of chicken, fish or pork. It's as if my body has simply lost the ability to break it down sufficiently.
