Though I like the taste of hazelnuts best, the nuts I use the most are almonds. I buy them in bulk and continue to be amazed at ways I find to use them. For Thanksgiving, I put them in slivers on top of the stuffing, cooked out of the bird, and everyone loved it. Added just enough crunch to the moist stuffing.

I read this and immediately got up and opened a can of Blue Diamond low sodium almonds. They are BIGIF this week at Publix. I bought 2--here in GA, each one is half price--by law. I always pick the almonds out of mixed nuts.

I'm into eating a few nuts daily, especially this time of year. When my better-half is into her baking frenzy, I can usually snitch a few WALNUTS without getting caught. However, I do like PISTACHIOS too....
