I often have greek yogurt with walnuts in it and an orange and coffee with real cream.

Oatmeal about 2 times a week. I put diced apple, walnuts, raisins and honey on it. Or sliced banana, walnuts, pecans and honey. Or diced mango, pineapple, coconut and maple syrup (Maui style). Sometimes an egg, fried or boiled with a slice of toast and orange juice and/or coffee. Cold cereal with grains, and raisins, cranberries, chopped dates and nuts of any kind with milk or Almond Breeze drink (don't do Soy). Sometimes I have big breakfast of 1 scrambled egg with onions, green or red pepper and a bit of cheese topped with diced tomato, 4 maple sausages (I know, they're packed with nitrates and I love them/the reason why I'm not vegetarian), a slice of toast, and coffee. Sometimes only a slice of toast with peanut butter and sliced banana and a coffee.

I had a medium banana,2 pcs. whole grain toast, a cereal mix of 1/3 cup fortified bran flakes, 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup shredded wheat, and 1/4 cup all-bran for extra fiber. On top was 2 oz. blueberries and 2% milk. Also 1-medium egg, 1-cup orange juice, 1 1/2 oz. prunes, and 1/2 oz. dried cranberries. The egg was hardboiled.

During a week I eat oatmeal on water, no sugar, blueberries or strawberries if have any. Recently on side I make egg whites with veggies. During weekend I sin a little bit and make scrambled eggs (+ egg whites) on some kind of fresh sausage and of course veggies like onion, bell pepper, spinach ecc, plus homemade whole wheat english muffin. Coffee and 1% milk. Simple, yummy and my fav.

I'm so glad you shared this info. When I saw folks answers I was surprised at how many emphasized protein. We've become such a nation of fearful, virtuous eaters, people don't uscommosense. We needed this info.
For breakfast, we either have crock pot steel cut oats with fruit & nuts or a fruit, kale & green tea smoothie. All over 16 in our house, so we keep breakfast around 3-400 calories, lunch around 600, & dinner around 500. Snacks are only fresh fruit & veggies. Since we watched Forks over Knives, we have cut even lean meat & fish down to 2 meals a week. We are all so much happier. & energetic, fruits, veggies & whole plant based nutrition is easy & delicious.

Seriously? Whole grains? Who will be starving by 10 am. Bacon egg and avocado gets me to 5 pm.
