My favorite breakfast lately is one potato parboiled & fried in chicken fat, flavored with toasted chili flakes &cumin. Chopped onion & garlic, red bell pepper are sauteed until soft, then go the greens (collards, broccoli rabe, kale, turnip greens). Cook until tender. Break 3 eggs on top. Cover four minutes. Serve with wheat toast garnished with balsamic & olive oil.

2 a 3 white eggs, 1 0 2 100% whole grain toast, a cup of coffee and glass of vegetable,fruits juice

Old fashioned rolled oats microwaved with freeze dried fruit (no sugar added) and Splenda. Better for you than those packages of instant oatmeal with all the added sugar. I try to have it 2-3 times a week, since oatmeal is also considered to lower cholesterol.

I make scrambled eggs using 1/2 cup egg substitute and two eggs. I scramble this mix with veggies and share with my husband, I get 1/3 and he gets 2/3. This has been very satisfying.

I eat a cup of whole oat meal with 2 tablesppons of raw almond butter,sprinkled with cinnamon and stevia.

Eggs and a green smoothie most days. And copious amounts of coffee with a little milk in it!
