Which salmon should I buy?

I never buy Farmed Salmon. I agree with your discussions above as the reason. Thank you for promoting what I believe is better for us & the environment. I keep a current [ as it changes] Seafood Watch card from Montery Bay Aquarium in my wallet, it's handy. And I'm constantly educating others on these easy to access resources. It is not often I find good salmon or other healthy seafood in my small town, but when I get it I will use my vacuum sealer, freeze it and it does very well for quick thaw & cook.

I buy Salmon from Kodiak Alaska, but in light of Fukushima is the Salmon still consider safe to buy?

I buy only wild salmon for cooking at home. My husband, however, loves to eat at sushi restaurants and they almost always serve Atlantic Salmon. Our they charge an arm and a leg for 'premium' salmon. I make him pay the extra :)

Just had sockeye salmon (baked with garlic powder, olive oil and a few other spices) and Spanish rice. Delicious!
