By hand until broken dishwasher is replaced. Question: does a stainless interior make enough if a difference in cleaning and?or drying to justify a much higher cost? (buying Whirlpool)

Dishwasher! I have an energy/water saving one, and it takes about 3 hours for it to run a load. So, saves me time. Plus, I never unload it. That's my kids' job. So...totally adore good dishwashers! I make my own dish washer soap too.

I am the dishwasher!

I wash by hand in very hot water. At least when I do them by hand there is no lipstick left on glasses.

I wash by hand only because I don't have a dishwasher

I do both depending on how many dishes I have at the time. But, I do see a difference in the dishwasher compared to by hand. As I get older it harder to see if I got them clean or not. With the dishwasher I know they are clean.

washing dishes by hand probably keeps the dishes cleaner. Sometimes residues and food stains are left behind that does not get cleaned completely because machine might fail to clean some dishes in the process. keep your dishwasher and dishwasher parts, including dishwasher rack clean always. Soak and dry up the dishwasher cleaner that will help the dishwasher parts clean and new. that way it will work better. you can choose to wash dished with your hand too.

great post anyway.

thanks !

Dishwashers are good if you only have a single sink
