I bought frozen blueberry,rashberry,and blackberry.I wonder if it better then the fresh one.

You name it I buy it frozen. The only things I dont buy frozen are things such as bananas , oranges, potatoes, and lettuce. Usually if I cant buy it in season I buy it frozen. I can store it and keep it longer and don't have to worry about it rotting before I get a chance to use it.
My children and husband enjoy the stir fry mixes I buy frozen. It is a great way to buy a variety of veggies and still be able to save money and watch the portions. I have found that I can buy the onions and peppers mix, for instance, and be able to use them in alot of there favorite meals. For example beef tips with sauteed onions and peppers or western style omelets just to name a few.
Buying frozen vegetables has also cut down on my electric bill. I'm not having to spend so much time in the kitchen with my stove or small appliances on so it's a great help.

I love to use frozen fruit for smoothies crisps.
Some frozen veggies are okay for soup but brussels sprouts, NEVER again.

I live in WI so fresh produce is very hard to get during late fall and winter. I much prefer the taste of frozen veggies over canned-except green beans, I never buy them frozen. I usually buy frozen peas and carrots, broccoli, spinach, and corn. Easy to use frozen vegetables in cooking and I agree sodium is high but I usually do not cook with much extra salt.

Broccoli. I also use fresh broccoli when it's available, but frozen works better for some recipes. I can eat broccoli every day.

I live in Indonesia and we have fruit and vegetables in all season. As i live alone and have not much time to cook but i love cooking and always bring my lunch everyday then i'm thinking of prepare all the vegetables and fruit in the weekend (usually on satuday) then in the weekdays i just take it from fridge and cook it. I buy, cut and wash then put into the container or plastic bag.
I usually have carrot, fresh kidney bean, broccoli, cauliflower, baby cabbage, local green squash.
Then for the fruit i have apples, pears, orange, pinapple.

Only problem is for us folks that have heart issues and have to watch our salt intake. Canned and frozen foods generally have high sodium content. I'm in CA an realize it's much easier for us to get fresh friut and veggies all year, and realize that's not the case for most of the rest of the country. But that just makes it much harder for people on a low sodium diet to have much variety in the winter. ...Michael H.
