While the nutritional value of Greek is better, I think it leaves a 'sticky' feeling on my palate. I really wanted to like it... but the texture was a turn-off.

My personal research...reading labels at the store does not match your's. What brand were you comparing? Yoplait vanilla only had 80 mg sodium, 5g. protein, & 10g. sugar.. While Fage plain greek had 70 mg sodium, 18g. protein, & 8g sugar. Yoplait was 90 calories while the Fage had 190 cal. I look at protein, sodium, calories and sugar. I like all yogurts but will only buy yogurt that has both acidophilus and bifidus minimum. My husband likes regular yogurt over greek, call us old school.

Until recently I shied away from Greek Yogurt because I couldn't find one which appealed to my taste. The one I found recently has a creamier texture than the others and now I use it in place of sour cream whenever I can.

I prefer regular. I don't like yogurt that thick. I like it plain as I can add my own fruit or etc.

I prefer Greek for the same reasons mentioned above. Plus, regular has higher sodium, sugar and carbs.
I love it with mixed berries and liquid vanilla creme stevia to satisfy the sweet tooth! A small amount of healthy nuts or granola on top for crunch and the final touch...awesome! Thanks for the helpful advice!

I love Greek yogurt because it is soooooo smooth and thicker. I enjoy it on top of applesauce or just plain....I prefer the 2% vanilla. Bev Lane

I like to strain regular yogurt and use it in salads replacing most of the mayo called for. It is really good with sliced cucumbers, lemon juice, dill and S & P! Greek yogurt is okay but more expensive and for the price, I can strain regular yogurt overnight and get pretty much the same thing!
