I think more and more people are going to realize the economic and nutritional benefits of gardening. Then this interest will expand into larger gardens and perhaps homestead critters such as bees, chickens, goats and fish in ponds.

All these foods have been around for a while.
Agave is old news, the new sweetener is coconut/palm sugar.
Artesian multi grain breads have gluten.
Farro is OK but quinoa & amaranth are better.
Don't buy already ground flax seed (meal), grind your own in a blender or coffee grinder because it goes rancid fast.
Forget dairy kefir, seems everyone is lactose intollerant because humans aren't designed to drink another animal's [breast] milk meant for that's animal's babies. Get one of the dairy-free kefirs or make your own-cheap and easy. Grains and instruction available online.
The other nut butters are excellant but the raw versions are much more nutritional and more easily digested.
Oats contain gluten.

Agave (sugar) and wheat products are not good for human health yet so called "experts" are still dishing out this bad advice. when will the bad food advice end ?

Would like to see more in-depth exploration of agave nectar. Have seen several articles that indicate it is NOT healthy at all - in fact, is actually worse than high fructose corn syrup because it is not natural, and is highly processed.

Agave Syrup is a "healthy trend"? How is that? It's made in a similar way to high fructose corn syrup, and its sweetener is an an unbound molecular structure, meaning it will make you fatter than real sugar and possibly cause tissue damage and/or diabetes. For that recommendation alone, this article is ridiculous and misleading.

I love Flax. My favorite Flax is FitFlax which is a golden roasted flax and chia blend that is low carb and low cal. It does not need to be ground and tastes crunchy and nutty. It def helps with weight loss and it tastes delicious in Greek yogurt.

One little comment--The agave that you can get in the store today is incredible processed. It's not as natural as we all think.
