Penelope asks: Are you a turkey lover or hater?

I'm decidedly in the "hater" camp, having never in all my 45 years tasted a Thanksgiving or Christmas bird that wasn't dry as cotton, and with just about as much flavor. I much prefer ham, personally. Sorry, dear purists. I'm all for tradition, but even that has it's limits. :-)

I don't care about turkey haters. But, I love thanksgiving and I truly love turkey. I also love to eat turkey sandwishes after thanksgiving.

Thankyou for this article! I thought I was the only person in this country who avoids Turkey- I just don't like it.
At Thanksgiving I usually bring my own chicken dish or go vegetarian.
Now I know I'm not alone!
