The ideas aren't my preference, but they are on the right track. Breakfast is the absolute most important meal of the day. Getting whole grains, protein and healthy fats (raw nuts) is vital.

I personally start my day with a non-flavored protein shake mixed with v8 fusion juice, whole grain toast, fish oil tabs and a multi-vitamin- easy and complete.

I get my protein from a great place called www.trueprotein.com, I have 5% dicount code if you are interested it is PGK101.
I also have a link to eatingwell on my website; http://www.befitstlouis.com/Nutrition.html
check it out if you like...all the best.

I doubt that my children would be willing to eat any of these suggested breakfasts.

The peanut bars sound great, but is it possible to use raw nuts instead of roasted? It is not a good idea to eat roasted nuts, as the roasting process really denatures the protein and robs us of critical nutrients that are found in raw nuts. Also, I wonder if we can make a healthier choice for the "rice krispies". I"ll have to experiment with this one! Diane Lassen, RN, HHC

Salmon not pleasant at 8:AM. Canadian Bacom too expensive for Breakfast! Asparagus too expensive for Breaakfast! English Muffins too expensive for Breakfast, Ham too expensive at Breakfast. Plus the aroma of fish & meat make me ill in early morning. I'll stick to my Oatemeal & fruit...easy & fast. Your idea's sound like what men may like!!
