Wendy asks: What super-simple dinners do you pull together with 5 ingredients?

Overall this meal was very good although next time i make it, i will add some of the cheese mixture on the top when the chicken has a couple minutes left to cook. It will give you more of the cheese flavor. Also, i made zuchinni and squash on the side. I sauteed the veggies after i mixed them with salt pepper and garlic powder. It was a delicious meal and i will definetly make it again!

Lemon Chicken
4 Chicken Brest
1 Teaspoon Tarragon
1 Teaspoon Thyme
2 Cups of Heavy Whipping Cream
Lemon zest and Lemon Juice

Lightly power chicken on both sides with flour and place in a frying pan with a little bit of butter
In a different sauce pan add heavy whipping cream, thyme, and tarragon, boil and reduce.
When almost done add lemon zest to cream and lemon juice to chicken.
You can serve over white rice and even add green onions…
Simple and easy! Must thank Fiancé’s Mom for that goodness!

My 5 ingredient supper, well nothing says cheap and no cooking like summer time sandwiches. Two slices of bread, your meat and cheese of choice, lettce, and tomatoe. We do it buffet style, plates at one end of the counter finshed with your condiments at the other end. You fix your own sandwich and sit down at the table with the family. Rock paper scissors to see who puts it all away.

You can bake it in the oven at 350 degrees and it takes 12 minutes

Tilapia fish
1 can of cubed tomatoes
2 table spoons of Philadelphia cheese

You bake the fish for 4 minutes or so on each side, on a separate bowl combine the tomato and cream cheese to make a creamy sauce and pour on top of the fish. Bake for another 4 minutes.

It is very easy and tasty!!

08/16/2010 - 11:29pm

4 thin cut pork chops
1 can black beans ( drain and rinse)
1 cup salsa

Cilantro and sour cream to top.

Brown chops on both sides, place on plate cover with tin foil. Heat up black beans and salsa in pan.
Place chops on top of beans and salsa cover and simmer about 5 min. or until chops are no longer pink.

Place chops on plate cover with beans and salsa. Top with a little sour cream and cilantro.

We always eat ours with a mixed green salad.
