I often take a baked potato to work for lunch, but I never thought of topping the potato with anything other than just salt and pepper. I'm looking forward to trying these toppings. Yay potatoes!

really, you think no one has ever had cheese or bacon on a tator before? Most of the things on this list are very common on baked tators yet you claim I have never had them... Don't write stuff any more.

In middle school, we used to have a potato bar for lunch about once a month. I loved this day, I am a big carb lover. On the bad side, there were so many bad choices to choose from and of course I chose them. I fell in love with putting bacon bits, croutons, chili, cheese sauce and the final topping--green olives. Sounds gross I know, but man was it tasty. I have now toned it down. When I am in the mood for this flavor, I use leftover turkey chili, omit the cheese because it is over powered anyway, leave out the croutons, use a scant amount of bacon bits(15 cal), and still cannot go without the green olives. My ultimate nostalgic comfort dish---yum!!

Have you ever spritzed your freshly baked potatoe with some fresh lemon juice and a very slight amount of salt? Being on restricted fats (i.e. butter), I have found this to be tasty.

Sure! As long as they're baked! Thanks for all the great ideas of potatoe toppings! I usually just use butter or some kind of gravy, but now I might as well try some of your recipes, they alreay look so yummy! Thank you so much for sharing!
