Lisa asks: How do you decide which chicken to buy?

When buying chicken you always pay the most for the separate butchered parts. I recommend having your butcher separate a whole chicken into 8 pieces then you can use them for whatever you like. Or if you know how to do it yourself then go that route. I also think it's important to support local farmers that are treating their animals right. And in my opinion, those free range, local birds, taste fantastic and are worth a few extra bucks!
