I mash and whip them up just like white potatoes....with a little butter and sour cream and salt and pepper...so much better for diabetics because of how it affects your blood sugar in a better way!...and so yummy!

My favorite sweet potato recipe is a very old EATING WELL recipe. I have it put away with my Thanksgiving recipes but basically, it calls for roasting sweet potatoes and apples and putting it all through a food mill. It's delicious and healthy - no sugar added - very easy to make - works for all your guests, whatever their diets.

I love my sweet potatoes with brown-sugar,sugar,butter,cinnamon,nutmeg, and lightly tossed with raisins and marshmallows.
