Lisa asks: What is your favorite trick to cut calories but still eat your favorite foods?

I like ice cream, but my roommate will scarf the entire carton down before I can have a second scoop (the next day). Now, I just peel and slice a banana into a bowl and put it into the freezer for 1/2 to 1 hour (no more or it will freeze solid and it's not so good then). I'll then put a small squirt of caramel sauce or marachino cherry juice and I have a wonderful bowl of nearly non-fat, healthy deliciousness!.

When you gotta have something RIGHT NOW, how about some "orange sorbet"? That would be one spoonful of orange juice concentrate. It's quite a flavor punch and can cool those cravings...

Yet another way to cool those cravings is to snack on a kumquat. Just nibbling on the skin of one of those (yup, it's quite edible) is enough to kill my apetite for a bit.
