I begin to eat very, very light. I will have fruit for breakfast, salad for lunch and 2-3 different kinds of hot veggies for dinner with some whole grain bread(toasted). I drink lots of water and for snacks maybe a rice cake with peanut butter. If I'm really feeling pudgy, I will do a 5 day detox flush(drink) along with the above regimen.

I cut back on sodium. It helps lose that extra "water weight". Conversely, I drink more water itself. Amazingly, water itself isn't what bloats you. Sodium makes you retain more water.
